This is a cycling adventure across Moravia along the Morava cycling route (304 km) starting at the Czech-Polish border in Jeseníky Mountains in Mikulovice. Follow the cycling route 53 all the way to spa town lázně Jeseník, and further on via Lipová-lázně, partly along the road to Ramzová, the highest point of the entire route (763 m a.s.l.). You will reach the Morava River near Hanušovice and from here you will follow cycle route 51 via Bludov to Šumperk (villas in Viennese style) and Zábřeh (birth place of traveler Eskymo Welzl). Through the amazing floodplains of Litovelské Pomoraví along the cycling route 4 and meandering river of Mrava. Morava cycling route cuts through a basin full of sandy lakes near Mohelnice and further on to UNESCO town and regional capital Olomouc. From here you will cycle through arable lands of Hana to another UNESCO gem with Archbishop Palace and  gardens - town Kroměříž with the nick name “Athens of Haná region”. The next section follows technical gem - Baťa Canal which was built by show maker Bata. Towards the end of the canal you reach Uherské Hradiště, hearth of Moravian Slovakia region. In there you will find folklore traditions including open air museum in Strážnice. Not far from there is Hodonín "town of oil" before you reach Břeclav in South Moravia. Before the confluence of Morava and Dyje rivers near Lanžhot you can visit the free standing chateau Pohansko which is part of UNESCO landscape park Lednice-Valtice. We recommend to take 7 days cycle vacations while using the national cycle friendly certification of accommodation and gastronomy services „Cyclists Welcome“.
