 náměstí Kašpara Šternberka 2, Radnice
The information center of city RADNICE and MIKROREGION RADNICKO offers the opportunity to inform about the history and monuments, nature, attractions, transportation, accommodation, catering, cultural and sporting events in the town and its surroundings. We are located in the Museum of Josef Hylak.

The Museum of Josef Hylak is located in an originally burgher house from the first third of the 18th century, also called Jakovsky, later Falkov. This legionary house later formed part of the castle complex and was home to the economic administration of the Šternberk estate. In 1849, the castle and the town fell under fire, then rebuilt into its present form. The building of today's museum served as an apartment house in the 1970s. In the ground floor, the extensive Sternberg library was stored until the 90's. The building boasts a well-repaired Baroque roof and facade and is a characteristic stand for museum collections.

The Radnice Museum was founded as the first museum in the district of the year 1892 by the conductor Josef Hylak, who, with his pedagogical and educational activities in Radnice, was one of the most important personalities in the history of this region. The museum was originally managed by the Museum Cooperative Kašpar Sternberg, today the Town Hall. Relatively extensive collections document the region and other areas.

The appearance of the city, the chateau and the building of the museum in front of the fire brings a picture of the theatrical curtain of the radnice theater association deposited in the museum. The museum's collection collection is an exceptionally extensive and comprehensive numismatic collection, which is currently being prepared and prepared for a comprehensive exhibition.

Permanent exhibition:
Ethnographic, historical and natural collections from Radnicka, collections of antiques of the native of Václav Kočka-Amorta, city and surroundings personalities, architecture and city development. Jews and Christians.
Because of the reconstruction, the exhibition is only partially accessible to visitors.
