The tour of the entire complex includes exhibition on the history of the city, the history of the monastery, the monastery cellars, historic halls of the restored ceiling painting by JK Handke, a picture gallery of Baroque painters, tower clock machines, beekeeping exhibition, an exhibition of Christmas and Easter themed exhibitions Middle School carving of a Tovacov Secondary vocational school of forestry and engineering in Šternberk.

In the halls of the tour route echoes live music performed on various instruments. From April 24, 2014 in the premises held a large exhibition of violins and violin making, which will commemorate the anniversary of 500 years of violin in Europe.
Musical experiences permanent exhibition completes an organ enriched unique view of the fresco decoration of the temple of the Annunciation.

Handke civic association was registered in 1999 and then was very actively involved in the editing room area of ​​the former Augustinian monastery in Šternberk. After several years of hard work managed to make the premises in which they presented Baroque paintings, mainly from JK Handke. The painter motivated us to name our association. JK Handke was important Moravian painter who was not yet known to the public too. An important milestone was the creation of conditions for a national exhibition of fine art school disciplines. These shows are held once every three years and the general public are very positive.

The efforts of the civic association pursues as its main objective to connect history with the present, creating bridges between professional and amateur art and collaborate on projects that highlight and forgotten monuments in the former Sudetenland.

Our next priority is to work with the Roman Catholic parish and town Šternberk Šternberk to move towards full use of the premises of the former Augustinian monastery in Šternberk more leisure.
